Background & History
Founded in 1980 by President Jui-Shan "Jerry" Cheng in Taipei, Taiwan, Yi Wang is a family-owned manufacturer specializing in the research, development, production and distribution of Honey Bee and Health Supplement products.
The root of Yi Wang stems back in the 1930's. During World War II, native Southern Taiwanese Mr. Chien Cheng, grandfather of current President Mr. Jui-Shan Cheng, was first introduced to industrialized beekeeping. Fascinated by Honeybees and driven by the sustainability which bee products provided, Mr. Chien Cheng would devote the rest of his life into mastering the art of beekeeping, and such technique and passion were subsequently passed down to his children.
Over the course of the next 50 years, Mr. Chien Cheng and his children continued to explore and develop the business in beekeeping. The business would then expand and multiply in sizes and production capacities. Various bee products were processed and innovated into various product lines to suit for different markets.
Believing the potentials and benefits of bee products, in 1983, Mr. Jui-Shan Cheng, the third generation of the family, decided to take steps further and founded Yi Wang Biotech, Ltd. Co., positioning the company as a professional Honey Bee & Health Supplement product manufacturer.

In the following 20 years, Yi Wang successfully expanded to different markets in the world, establishing production facilities and distribution lines in Malaysia, Brazil, China, and USA. Along the way, Yi Wang also partnered and collaborated with numerous health professionals and nutritionists to develop various innovative health supplement products.
Today, Yi Wang is an international honeybee and health supplement manufacturer with production plants in Taiwan, Malaysia, and Brazil, supplying raw materials, providing private labeling services, and developing new health supplement formulas for businesses and organizations with different needs and markets.
